Pilot Training

Maxair's Flight school is ideally located at the Outagamie County Regional Airport. Our facility includes a Weathermation system, Flight Tracker, a computerized training center, a classroom and all the materials and supplies you will need to become a pilot!

Maxair has operated a successful Flight school for over 40 years! Multiple Certified Flight instructors are on staff who are authorized to provide instruction for the private pilot, commercial pilot, instrument and multi-engine ratings. In addition, each instructor has successfully completed courses in lesson planning, classroom instructing techniques, course development, student evaluation and testing. To maintain Flight instructor status, each Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) must continuously demonstrate proficiency to the FAA. Maxair's Flight instructors not only provide ground and Flight instruction, but they can also conduct Biannual Flight Reviews (BFRs) and give aircraft check-outs.

A Discovery Flight allows you to spend your first 1 hour Flight lesson in a Cessna 172 aircraft with one of our Certified Flight Instructors at a discounted rate. You will receive a half hour of ground instruction and a half hour of hands-on flying which can then be logged as your first hour of flying in your log book! The rate is offered to every student one time for $75.00 total. This is a great way to decide if becoming a pilot is for you! Maxair Discovery Flights are popular gifts for birthdays, graduations and holidays.
